Luo Zhifei is an independent writer who studied in the United Kingdom and has long been based in Southeast Asia. Her work explores the history of the Chinese diaspora, urban wanderers, and the geography of dreams.

She has completed the novella Guest of the Chao Phraya River and the short story Christmas at Phoenix Temple. Her third work, Chinatown Arabian Nights, is currently being serialized.
